WIFW Spring Summer 08

Inspired by ragdolls, the Spring Summer 2008 collection had playful silhouettes with a mix and match of colors like greens, reds, pinks, yellows and whites. With dresses being the strong trend for the season, the collection included many in cotton, linen and light flowy silks. Thread and silk strips texturing created quirky layering to give a dramatic look to simple silhouettes. Ragdoll motifs were placed on the garments to highlight the cut.

WIFW Spring Summer 07

Inspired by different faces, the Spring Summer collection was a medley of faces depicted in different mediums. Screen printed, embroidered, tie and dyed, patched and painted, the theme ran the whole gamut in dresses skirts and tops. Whites , off whites, browns, blacks with nuances of greens, pinks and reds, the collection was an interesting mix of wraps, layers and patchwork. Crochet laces and tieups transformed skirts into dresses. Rouching of voil in circles to create a third dimension teamed with a stark plain fabric made a subtle yet powerful statement. Bags and shoes carrying the theme were a strong look for the season.
